You may have received this question quite a bit, but I have been checking on the next gardening class (almost daily), I had already signed up to receive any information regarding the group, but so far nothing yet. Thanks for any information.
Nita, great potluck - great graduation - congratulations and thanks for your help in grinding in the vol. hours and in grinding out the diplomas. You and Brandi did a great stage show - you looked great with the backdrop of all the CG Grads - you should be happy and proud - it was quite the Food scene.
FYI and promotion/commotion, I just started a discussion under Resources on local food recipies and added te first one - Posole. Could you announce that somehow on the front page - maybe change the Potluck ANN to a tahks to all for making it a success and congrats to the 100 CG grads of Spring 2009 - and adding that recipe discussion has started under Resources - folks should add, take, shake, and bake.
Hi Nita,
we had a lot of fun putting this together, and yesterday we ate our first strawberry-divided by four, of course! Yummy! I sit out there at night with a glass of wine and watch the plants grow.
This is totally contagious, several of my friends have started garden beds, and I'm holding some miniature CG classes in our front yard.
Hope to run into you soon!
Sabine
Thank you for the welcome, Nita. The last two days have been so wonderful! I've gained such a wealth of information, and I can't wait to get started. I'll try to compile any questions for Wednesday. See you then.

Thanks. Sorry, I haven't had much free time to help out at all--busy with the business. Give me a shout for the next round of classes, and I'll keep you posted on any volunteer opportunities I might have.
We spoke at the CG class in late January. My school, Primavera Montessori School, is very interested in becomeing a partner and host site for future CG classes. We are a small non-profit school (135 families), with children ranging in ages from 2 years to the fourth grade. Collectively, we have a great love for gardening and community. Our gardening teacher is Amber (Dunckell) Atterberry. She and her husband, Phillip are our resident Gardening / Landscaping experts. Phillip owns Garden's Without Boarders. We are very excited about the prospect of inviting more of the Austin community to our school, as well as, offering a broadened gardening experience for our many interested parents and staff. We have a large fenced area just waiting to be enlivened. Please let me know how I might proceed with this inquiry and get the ball rolling for a future collaboration with CG. Many thanks and much love, Jen Phillips.
Hi Nita-
My garden is growing well, but it is time to pull some things out and plant some other items. I really enjoyed the Citizen Gardeners class. If we get the grant for Garden Terrace, we would love to do a training at the site and then have volunteers help the low-income residents build their own square-foot gardens. I will know if we receive the materials and funds by March 25th.

Thanks! Is Possy Garden an option as a way to get my volunteer hours?
