Kathy said… - I hope you can attend the Escape from Suburbia event. The "escape" involves edible landscaping, ecovillages, growing communities, etc. My favorite scene involves a seeing a really happy cow who's not in California...
I've extended the invitation to my Art & Indie Film Meetup and Simplicity Meetup groups, so there will be an opportunity to educate and invite people to join Citizen Gardener.
It'll be a great evening of film, food and conversation.

Food Maker
Hi All,
We had a blast today at the Food Maker tent in the Maker Fair.
Debbie and I (and a few other volunteers) got to teach a whole
lot of people how to get started growing a vegetable garden.
We started of with a small box of very nice soil and helped them
all plant some a small fall garden while telling them about square
foot gardening and the 'Citizen Gardening' group/web site/training.
We met a lot of new gardeners, young and old, who got to walk away
