Seeding the Garden of Gardeners

I was wondering does anyone in the group grow tomatoes and if you do, do you wait until you see tomoates to start fertilizing on a set schedule. I have read that some fertilize from start to harvest and then others wait until tomatoes appear. Let me know. Thanks.

I've read that you fertilize before planting and when tomatoes appear, then once a week with a diluted solution thereafter.

Thanks for the information. Either it is just plain too hot, or the plant just won't produce. I found 3 horn worms on it earlier this month and they were removed along with the stems that were affected, but still no tomatoes. Oh well, since this is my first year, I figured some of my pants would not produce, like my squash.
